AEM Cold Air Intake System | Mk6 Golf | Jetta 2.5L (2011-2014) | 21-733C

Put this on my 2.5 mk6 golf and it sounds really nice and feels a bit better when you're on the gas, it also looks pretty cool in the engine bay and is straight forward and easy to install. It would've been a lot easier if the heat shield I got was machined correctly. On the one I got, where it mounts to where the old intake air scoop was, there are two flanges that are supposed to go up, one of mine went down. This messed up a couple of things, the direction of the air wasn't all going to the correct spot and the other mounting points no longer lined up. So I ended up having to make a metal bracket to connect the heatshield properly and still have the other mounting points able to connect as well. Put it on March 1st, it's been nine days and it's fine but I wish it would've been checked to make sure it was proper before being sent to me. In the photos you will see the metal piece I had to use, and then the other side which connected fine.
