After buying your proper center bore ring or centering ring for your application. The retaining ring is installed by compressing it slightly and placing it in the machined grove of your BBS wheel center hole. It will then expand in the seat. This will ensure perfect fitment for your BBS wheel on the application you have. The retaining ring is tempered spring steel.
