This little O-ring for the intake camshaft timing adjuster is one of the main reasons for oil losses, it's hard to see with the cooling hoses in the way, but you can see it on the lower part of the upper timing chain cover surface below the flange. The oil/drops normally end up on the bottom around the turbo., especially on the oil feeder. Exact fit & easy to fix just ensure not over-torque the bolts (9Nm) and lube it sufficiently when you slide in the timing chain adjuster. This O-ring has to resist the pos. & neg. crankshaft ventilation pressure, if the PCV fails and we know it will happen, the question is when.
