Purchased a set of mk8 golf r carbon fiber mirror caps. The mirror caps were identical to another supplier who I had bought another set of caps for the same car and did not fit. These caps do not support side assist lighting with no place for them to clip in and struggle to fit on the mirror housing. This is not a product I would recommend to anyone.

These mk8 mirror covers should be listed as 'faux' carbon as they are not true carbon. Sorry but the base layer is just a carbon pattern. Either way, they got painted
