Description
CTS Turbo VW/Audi 1.8T/2.0T TSI Turbo Outlet Pipe (EA888.1 and EA888.3) is designed to replace the narrow ‘pancake’ pipe that comes as factory equipment on your vehicle.
Our Turbo Outlet Pipe features 2.25″ diameter aluminum tube for optimized flow. The CNC machined billet mating flange makes connecting this TOP to your FMIC literally a snap. The billet anodized turbo to TOP connector, 2.25″ coupler and premium clamps top this package off. If you’re looking for a simple bolt-on modification that will optimize flow and increase power, then this part is for you.

CTS TSI Turbo Outlet Pipe | 2008.5-up
Easy installation, however I’ve been running into the issue where the lower adapter connection to the Intercooler hose will pop off while I’m in the higher boost range, while inspecting the connection I would say that the adapter provided doesn’t seem to hold a good seal even after replacing the o ring seals. Forcing me to revert to stock again.

Very excellent quality. The finish on the pipe had no imperfections and was able to be installed in minutes. The included clamps and couplers were of good quality as well.

CTS TSI Turbo Outlet Pipe | 2008.5-up
I have a 2017 VW Passat 1.8T Gen3 and it fits and work well. VW uses these pancake pipes and this and the down pipe are part of it. Removing this restriction made a difference. Be sure to save the rubber grommets and turbo o-ring. The grommets are sort of a PITA to put on the pipe correctly. I installed this along with the throttle piping so can't tell you how much of a difference the outlet pipe makes. Both upgrades made a noticeable difference and worth the money. It works great with my AEM intake, Magnaflow exhaust. CTS down pipe and tune is next. FYI, the IE turbo inlet elbow DOES NOT FIT this car.

Easy install. If pairing with the Turbo Muffler Delete I would recommend cutting that coupler 1 1/2 inches for a better fitment.

Easy upgrade that fits like OEM while getting rid of the pancake style pipe VW uses letting the engine breath freely.

I liked the overall design of the pipe along with the silicone coupler but in my opinion the locking arch clip used to hold the pipe and the coupler together could be a lot better, considering that there is charged air bursting inside the cts turbo outlet pipe and through the silicone coupler. In my case the locking arc clip proved to be useless because the coupler kept popping of the cts turbo pipe low boost pressure. Even with light hand strength the coupler would rotate and did not feel secured to the cts turbo pipe. I had to install custom clamps along with duct tape to prevent the separation of the coupler and the actual pipe.
