This Euro switch will fit any Mk4 Golf/Jetta, B5 Passat and New Beetle, as well as This Euro switch will fit any 2011-2014 Mk6 Jetta Sedan 1.8T, 2.5L, TDI, 2.0L 8v (will NOT fit GLi or Sportwagen models).
Use of this switch will allow the parking lights to be turned on by themselves and also allow the fog lights to be turned on without the headlight on.
It will also allow the use of the Rear fog light on European tail lights (requires rear fog be wired to switch connector).

Easy install as most VW guys know... probablely the easiest on the entire car. Works great looks awesome. Remember, if your MK4 has the original switch, spend the $$ for this one. The Euro switch gives you just the running light potion, while still having the fog light controls as well. Once installed, you will notice that your dash board lights....yes the cel's that we all have also.....will be much brighter. :)

I think I bought this like 6 years ago and I'm just now being asked to review it, it worked well and lasted me the whole time I had the car and I'm sure the new owner is happy with it.

I had bought a used switch over a year ago as I collected parts for a headlights with fogs upgrade.
finally went to complete my install and the used switch would not light up the passenger side marker/tail circuit.
after testing everything I swapped in old switch, and BAZINGA, all worked, except no fog light control.
quickly ordering a switch from the guys at UROTUNING and my upgraded headlights are now working correctly

Headlight switch works as it should in my mk4 jetta. Wired up my lower grille fogs to it as well. In the process of wiring the rear foglight.

So my gti came with this as an OE part so I don't know what's so European about it. But its a fantastic replacement. Works and functions just like the old one did, except for the fogs shorting out

Exact replacement for stock MkIV headlight switch. I added the GLI headlights to my Jetta with the built in fog light projectors, and this switch makes it all work.

Don't waste your time and money on cheap switches. If it's not oem spec don't buy it, cheap switch's don't have the center pin and they always stop working. Good quality switch, installed in 30sec, and it hasn't let me down yet.

My cluster started to not work when my headlights came on. Put this European switch in and everything works fine. Great for when I add fog lights bc the controls are already built into the switch
