Exact longevity can vary based on driving conditions, use, abuse and oil brand and service interval. We have seen significant wear and damage as low as 10,000 miles, we recommend checking every 15,000 at minimum, and replacing if any signs of wear are available. When left alone the follower will eventually wear away, causing camshaft damage and fuel pump damage.
