I used a Dremel to trip face off the pod and now fits without obstruction. Before I did this the guage stuck out too far and hit the steering wheel.

I purchased a steering column gauge pod for my New South boost gauge for my Mk4 GTI. Pod fit great and was very easy to install. 10/10 would purchase again.
