The stock program is similar to the original factory programming and will allow you return your car to a stock feel which is perfect for when you have to take your car in for service. Some dealers are finicky about mods and by switching your car to stock the dealer will have NO clue at that the car is tuned with GIAC software. In fact there is no way they can tell with the diagnostic tools VW/Audi dealers use.
