GlowShift's Red LED Digital Tachometer with Shift Light is a vital accessory for those seeking a reliable tachometer and shift light combined into one easy to use, affordable unit. Each digital tachometer is mounted in a durable black metal pod and is a standalone unit that can be wired up to any vehicle with a 4, 6, 8 cylinder gasoline engine. Its three wire connection makes for a fast and easy installation to the vehicles coil or tach signal wire to monitor the gauges RPM. (It may be necessary to install a tach adapter for multiple coil applications.) The unit is easily adjustable allowing you to select between 0 to 9,999 RPMs in 100 Gauge RPM increments. It connects securely into its included pedestal mount allowing you to position the RPM meter for cars in any desired location. Note: Our Tachometers are only designed for a gasoline, single coil application. For multiple coil applications, the use of a multiple coil or aftermarket ignition system adapter is required. Vehicles equipped with High Energy Ignition Systems (HEI) will require GlowShift’s HEI Signal Filter.
