Modified crash bar for MK8 GTI/R

The design of the MK8 GTI/R grille does not allow air to pass through it. Instead, it relies on sufficient airflow from the bottom portion of the bumper, through a narrow air gap, to supply air to the entire face of the OEM intercooler. When the OEM intercooler is replaced with an aftermarket version, the increased thickness of the new unit blocks the air channel to the upper portion of the intercooler, reducing its efficiency. Our modified rebar restores this airflow, allowing the full face of the aftermarket intercooler to receive proper airflow.
