This impact grade 18 mm triple square is supplied with a 1-piece 1/2" drive base with an overall length of 60 mm. This short 18 mm is used for removing Mk5 (G/J) rear wheel bearing assemblies. Applications include 2006 Jetta and other Mk5 chassis cars.

The socket got the job done and out the door. I did have to heat one side with my inductive heater though.

Nobody else carried a Socket for the VW rear Hubs. Even Snap On, MAC or Cornwell. Great quality impact socket, worked well.

Works perfectly. Very strong. I used a breaker bar and a 10' pipe to loosen the rear hub bolts. It didn't phase the socket. Worth the $20 to know you'll be able to complete the job. Right tool for the job.

I broke several ratchets trying to use the snap on tool, this tool was my last try befor going to the torch, and it worked like a champ to replace my wheel bearings, i plan on buying more metalnerd tools
