Complete Racing Valve Exhaust and Header System with 200 Cell Sport Catalytic Converter for Porsche 987 Boxster MK1 (Before 2009) by CAPRISTO, Including CES-3 Remote Control
Designed exclusively for the Porsche Boxster 987 model years up to 2009, this CAPRISTO high-performance racing exhaust system is engineered for an optimal blend of power, drivability, and sound quality, while significantly reducing weight. Adhering to CAPRISTO's philosophy of offering the best of both worlds, this system allows for an aggressive exhaust note during hard acceleration and a quieter tone for city driving.
This functionality is achieved through vacuum-actuated valve flaps that adjust based on the driver's input and the car's performance. At low engine speeds and during cruising, the valves stay closed, creating a deeper exhaust note. When the throttle is fully open, the valves open up to unleash the engine's full auditory potential.
The system includes a backpressure-controlled exhaust valve system with a Valve Controller Remote, enabling the driver to override the standard control and open the valves permanently if desired. Once the valves are closed again using the remote, control reverts to the standard system, offering personalized exhaust sound control.
CAPRISTO exhausts are crafted in Germany using advanced techniques such as 3D laser-scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling. Each system is made from high-grade T309 Stainless Steel, chosen for its sonic resonance properties, light weight, and durability—qualities similar to Inconel used in F1 racing.

The headers feature a custom design and altered pipe layout to enhance exhaust flow beyond what stock manifolds offer.

The cell count indicates the flow capability, with fewer, larger holes allowing more exhaust gases to pass through.
