Product Details: Stage 1 Clutch Kit with Flywheel | Mk4 1.8T 6-Speed
Overview:
This dual mass flywheel conversion kit replaces the stock dual mass setup in your 6 speed with the more reliable single mass setup. The single mass is not prone to failure like the stock flywheel. This is an excellent upgrade for 337/20th/GLi owners who need to replace their clutch and have basic bolt ons like chip, intake and exhaust.
Kit includes:
- Replacement Single Mass Flywheel (23 lbs)
- Clutch Disc (240mm)
- Pressure Plate
- Release Bearing/Slave Cylinder
- Flywheel Bolts
- Pressure Plate Bolts
- Clutch Alignment tool
NOTE: This kit only fits 6-speed 1.8T engines.

Stage 1 Clutch Kit with Flywheel | Mk4 1.8T 6-Speed
Valeo packaging was terrible! These heavy parts weren't secured, no extra packaging material inside of the box, just thin paper between flywheel/clutch/pressure plate. Inspected parts, everything looked fine, just scratches from parts colliding during shipment, or so I thought. I took my time pulling the trans and installing everything. Once I finished the job and bled the clutch I realized the worst. The new throwout bearing started leaking fluid immediately. It was no small leak either, it was pouring out! All that work for nothing...
I'll edit this when I calm down enough to replace the new throwout bearing and can test the clutch.

Ordered this on a friday, was expecting it to take until the following friday to be delivered since they dont ship out on weekends, and to my surprise, shipped out that monday, delivered on tuesday. Insanely quick. Happy Customer. Shipped right to my shop for my 20th GTI.

Thanks for the Kit. Order, and payment were VG. My install tech was missing several bolts for the pressure plate...a hole in the shipping box. But a short email and Uro sent a small package with the bolts the next day. Thanks for that. We are up and going again.

Chatters a lot the fly wheel had a few dings on it and the throw out bearing had some scratches and dings. Throw out bearing makes noise when letting the clutch out.

Fast shipping, could use more bubble wrap, foam... etc. Received my package & the slave cylinder was damaged. Called the company & they got a whole new package to me within the next day. Even with the damage & delay, I am very happy with my upgrade.
