Description
Unitronic's new Turbo Inlet Elbow for the 1.8/2.0TSI MQB ISxx turbochargers is designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade and engineered to eliminate upstream airflow restrictions, allowing for it to both outflow and outperform anything on the market. It is optimized to perform to the maximum up to 50 lb/min, which far exceeds the demands for any IS-model turbo and hybrid variants.

Install
The Unitronic Turbo Inlet Elbow for vehicles equipped with the 1.8/2.0 TSI Gen3 (MQB) engines is designed to be simple to install with all the hardware necessary included. Installation time will take approximately one hour including the removal of the factory elbow and installation of your new Turbo Inlet Elbow.

Unitronic Turbo Inlet Elbow - 1.8/2.0 TSI Gen3 MQB
I ordered the Unitronic Turbo inlet last year when I ordered the Unitronic carbon fiber intake. The inlet was out of stock. I reordered it when it was restocked. The installation was extremely simple and took about 10 minutes.

Much larger bore than stock overall very satisfied with quality and noticeable gains. Works with stock elbow and 034 elbow.

Urotuning had this elbow to my door in like 2 days! This part was a breeze to install, and I installed it in conjunction with a new intake. Unitronic always provides top quality and this was no different. This definitely increased turbo noises and is a much welcomed upgrade over the stock elbow.

This is by far the highest quality inlet you can get. PCV hose removal is easiest if you remove the stock elbow and place a small, flathead screw driver underneath & in between the 'two prongs' on the connector.
I have had no blow-by on PCV connector whatsoever. Took a while for my engine to sort out the response change. I have coupled this with an Autotech Intake, aFE Filter, Snow grate removal, and opened up the front cowl/scoop on the right side.
Inexpensive full intake setup (Sub $250 when on sale).
