Unitronic UniFLEX ECU Software - VW/Audi / Mk8 / 8Y / Golf R / S3
Unitronic Stage 1+ E85 Performance Software is precisely calibrated for use with E60-E85 ethanol fuel blends and provides huge power gains over stock while maintaining an OEM-like driving experience with exceptional reliability.
Start/Stop Memory is now enabled and High-Speed Data Logging is also available via UniCONNECT+ for the SIMOS 19.6 ECU.
NOTE: E85 calibrations are not flex fuel calibrations by default, therefore, when using an E85 ECU calibration, the engine is only designed to operate on E85 blends from E60-E85.
Using an E85 calibration with pump gasoline or race gas may result in engine damage.
Unitronic strongly recommends the use of UniFLEX or an Ethanol Content Analyzer, to ensure Ethanol content levels are within the permissible range. When switching between gasoline to ethanol, please use Unitronic’s fuel conversion guide here.
Unitronic Stage 1 TCU Performance Software, Unitronic MPI Upgrade Kit, Unitronic Intake with Air Duct and Unitronic Intercooler are required to achieve advertised power figures.

Unitronic FLEX fuel enabled ECU Performance Software Calibrations are available for this platform allowing for seamless transitions between 100% gasoline to 85% ethanol and anything in between, without requiring an ECU reflash. UniFLEX calibrations also include several new features such as Rolling Launch Control (RLC) and Advanced Thermal Management. Learn more here. FLEX enabled Software is available for an additional fee and it covers all lower stages up until your highest purchased stage as well. Unitronic ECU calibrations now include Start/Stop Memory, which enables the vehicle to now remember the last set position. This feature will be rolled out for all tuned files for the MK8 GTI / R, 8Y S3 and more platforms soon.

Optimized Maximum Output
Unitronic’s ECU Calibrators deliver the maximum power output while staying within the operational limits of the factory engine and drivetrain components. Factory Safety Limiters Retained
OEM “fail safes” are retained within the ECU calibration. Close monitoring of all operation parameters ensures that engine operation stays within factory components limits, resulting in reliability.

Power Delivery Perfectly Optimized Throughout the Power Band
Aligned with the OEM strategy, the calibration is designed to offer a large flat torque plateau to provide a smooth and linear power band. Maximum torque output is achieved sooner and maintained longer which creates a broader torque plateau and greater area under the curve. This results in an improved acceleration and optimal engine operation.
