They're significantly thicker and longer than oem. I'm running a mk6 gti on airlift and will not allow me to air out below 30 psi when oem allowed for me to go to 0 psi. If I was not on air I would most definitely recommend however, on air reguardless of ride height it will smack the hell out of your control arm back to 2011 when it was made.
