Audi reveals the new S5 successor!

After 30 years, Audi is retiring the A4 and merging it into the A5/S5 lineup for 2025. In the U.S., only the four-door liftback model will be available, as the coupe, convertible, and Allroad wagon are being discontinued. The new Audi S5 will be larger than its predecessor, with an extended wheelbase and overall length.

Under the hood, the S5 will feature Audi’s Premium Platform Combustion engine—a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 producing 362 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. This is expected to be the last new internal combustion platform from Audi.

Inside, the S5 showcases an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit and 14.5-inch MMI panoramic display, with an optional 10.9-inch passenger display. The Audi assistant integrates ChatGPT for enhanced voice commands, while the new head-up display provides 85% more viewing space. The optional Bang & Olufsen sound system with 20 speakers offers an immersive audio experience. Expected to arrive in spring or summer 2025, the new S5 keeps the gas-powered lineup alive with luxury, tech, and performance.
