2025 VW TAOS REVEALED

Volkswagen's 2025 Taos has received significant updates that enhance both its aesthetic appeal and performance, positioning it as a more attractive option in the compact SUV market. The exterior redesign introduces a bolder front end, with new bumpers, grille options, and standard LED projector headlights, enhancing its modern look. The connected taillights and an illuminated rear badge further refine its upscale appearance. Buyers also have more customization options, with three new paint colors—Bright Moss Green, Monterey Blue Pearl, and Monument Gray—and a variety of wheel designs, ranging from 17- to 19-inch options across trims.

Inside, the 2025 Taos boasts a new dashboard design and upgraded materials, alongside an 8-inch floating infotainment display now standard on all models. Tech upgrades like touch controls for climate systems and improved acoustic dampening enhance the overall driving experience. Trim levels bring different seating options, from cloth upholstery in the S model to leather in the SEL trim, with more color options for added personalization.

The biggest performance upgrade is the refined 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, now producing 174 horsepower, up from 158. This added power is paired with either an eight-speed automatic or seven-speed DSG transmission, depending on the drivetrain. Volkswagen's IQ.DRIVE suite of driver-assistance technologies is standard across all trims, featuring a host of safety features like semi-automated driving, collision warnings, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping systems.
